So far, “The Catalyst” is a short film that tests a “Jaws in a haunted house” ghost story idea. We want to see how people respond to the intercutting of real life against a ghost’s POV as it learns to be a ghost. If the response is there, we want to expand it into a feature film franchise where accidents — which are unavoidable — trigger escalating hauntings.
